Benefits of CHED Scholarship Program
Following are the Benefits given to the scholar under the scholarship Program:
For State/Local Universities and College Benefits
Those who enroll in state university, College and local university will receive the following benefits:
- Full Merit Program per Semester– ₱40,000.
- Full Merit Program Per Year– ₱80,000.
- Half Merit Program Per Semester– ₱20,000.
- Half Merit Program Per Year– ₱40,000.
For Private University Benefits
Those who are enrolled in Private University will receive a scholarship benefits of:
- Full Merit Program per Semester– ₱60,000.
- Full Merit Program Per Year– ₱120,000.
- Half Merit Program Per Semester– ₱30,000.
- Half Merit Program Per Year– ₱60,000.
What is the CHED Scholarship
The CHED Scholarship is a financial assistance program which is offered by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the Philippines Country to help deserving and financially needy college students to pursue higher education.
CHED Scholarship Program is now open for all incoming college Students for Aadamic year 2025 to 2026, Follow the Steps given below to Apply Scholarship Program.
CHED Scholarship Requirements to Apply
To Apply CHED Scholarship Program you need to follow the requirements as given below:
- Must be a Filipino Citizen
- Must be a first year college students or a senior high school graduate
- Must enroll in a recognized CHED Priority Courses in a Private University. in a state University or recognized local university.
- GWA – General Weighted Average of at least 93% or higher.
- Those who are enrolled in a senior high school in a Region 1
- Annual Gross income of Both Parents or Guardian doesn’t exceed ₱500,000.00
Documentary Requirements to Apply
Following are the list of valid Documentary requirements to apply Scholarship program:
- Filipino Citizenship – A True copy of Birth Certificate.
- Academic requirements:
- Grade 12 Report card (Freshmen)
- Income requirements – Whichever is available:
- Latest income Tax Return of Guardian or Parents.
- Copy of Certificate of Tax Exemption form the BIR of Parents/Guardian, if not employed.
- Case study from the department of social welfare and development or
- Latest copy of contract or proof of income, for the children of Overseas Filipino Workers and Seafarers
- Valid Id cards.
Scholarship Application Deadline
- The CHED Scholarship Online Application is Open on May 5, 2025 and
- The Application Deadline for CHED Merit Scholarship Program is on June 20, 2025.
