OWWA Scholarship Online Application A.Y 2025-2026

The (EDSP) Education for Development Scholarship Program : This scholarship grant to qualified dependents of OFWs consisting of a maximum of Php60,000.00 per school year until the completion of a baccalaureate course (4-5 years)
For incoming freshmen, the selection of scholars is determined through the DOST national examinations. Only the top 1,000 qualifiers are considered for entry as freshmen
600 slots are for those in 2nd to 5th year college level
who are enrolled in any Philippine-based college or university

General Qualifications and Requirements & Qualified Beneficiaries

  1. General Qualifications
    Child of an active OWWA Member or sibling of a singnle or married but childless active OWWA Member
    No Availament of any OWWA Scholarship Program by other Members of the OFW Family
  • Incoming 1st Year College
  • Single
  • Not more than 21 years old
  • Grade 12 graduating student
  • GWA of 80% or its equivalent
  • 2nd to 5th Year College
  • Single
  • Not more than 30 years old
  • With GWA of atleast 85% or its equivalent
  • Must have no failing grades
  • Must be enrolled in a Philippine-based college/university

The basic requirements to be submitted by the Scholars upon application online are the following
1.Proof Identity
a. OFW – Valid Passport Copy of OFW Passport Bio or Information Page
b. Dependent- School I.D. or any available valid I.D.
c. ANY of the following: Birth Certificate or Baptismal

2.Proof of grades from the previous School Year
(i.e. Form 137 or Form 10 [TOR], Form 138 or Report Card, or Certificate of Grades from the School)

3.2×2 I.D. Picture of the OFW’s Dependent (Child or Sibling Applicant)

  • White background
  • With name tag and signature of scholar

(CMWSP) Congressional Migrant Workers Scholarship Program – is a scholarship program extended to deserving migrant workers and/or their immediate descendants who intend to pursue courses in the priority fields in Science and Technology.
It provides a financial assistance with a maximum of Php60,000.00 per school year until the completion of 4-5 years baccalaureate course in any college/universities within the Philippines.
The funding for this Program is sourced from the PCSO through a replenishable allocation released to and maintained under a separate account by the OWWA Secretariat

General Qualifications and Requirements & Qualified Beneficiaries

  • Deserving Migrant Workers (active OFWs) who are not more than 45 years old
  • Children of active or inactive OFWs who are below 21 years old
  • GWA of 80% without failing grades or within 20% of graduating class for children of ofw and no failing grades if ofw
  • Annual Family gross income of $2,400.00 or P76,000.00
  • The Alternative Learning System passers under the Continuing Education Program – Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) with an average of at least 85%or its equivalent as certified the DepEd Accredited Schools.
  • NO AVAILMENT of any OWWA Scholarship Program by other Members of the OFW Family

The (ODSP) OFW Dependent Scholarship Program offers financial assistance amounting to Php20,000.00 per school year to qualified dependents of OFWs who receive a monthly salary of not more than US$600.00, and who shall enroll, are currently enrolled or have been enrolled in any four-year or (5) five-year baccalaureate course or associate course in any Philippine-based college or university.

  • Must be a child or sibling of an OFW Active member (Subject to validation)
  • Single and not more than 21 years old
  • With a passing general weighted everage (GWA).
  • Already enrolled in 2nd year to 5th year in college
  • Must be a child or sibling of an OFW Active member (Subject to validation)
  • Single and not more than 30 years old
  • With a passing general weighted everage (GWA).
  • Must be enrolled in a Philippine-based College/University

Must have a monthly OFW income not more than USD 600.00 or its equivalent
NO AVAILMENT of any OWWA Scholarship Program by other Members of the OFW Family

Important Notes For Online Application

  • Use a valid and working e-mail address.
  • Provide a working mobile number to be able to contact you if there is a need to, refer to the application.
  • Do not make multiple applications as may this affect the process of verification/evaluation of your applications.
  • Make sure to prepare ALL REQUIRED documents/requirements/information/data about the scholarship applicant and the OFW before making the online application. This will serve as a basis for the first come, first serve policy of processing the application.
