SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
- Tuition & Other School Fees (For Scholars Enrolled in Private HEIs) ₱40,000.00 / Year
- Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance ₱10,000.00 / Year
- Monthly Living Allowance ₱7,000.00 / Month
- Transportation Allowance (For Those Studying Outside of Home Province)- 1 Economy-Class Roundtrip Fare
- Graduation Allowance ₱1,000.00
- Group Health and Accident Insurance Premium
- Thesis Allowance ₱10,000.00
WHAT ARE THE SUMMER ALLOWANCE (if Required in the Curriculum)
- Tuition & Other School Fees ₱10,000.00
- Monthly Living Allowance ₱7,000.00 / Month For Two Months
- Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance ₱2,000.00 (Outright Grant)
WHO CAN APPLY DOST JLSS ?
- DOST-SEI Priority S&T Course at identified Universities in the Second Semester of AY 2023-2024
- Must have a (GWA) General Weighted Average of at least 83%* or its Equivalent and with no Conditional, or Failing Mark from the First Semester of First Year until the First Semester of Second Year in the college, including in the midyear terms, if enrolled
- Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen
- Must be of good moral character and in good health
- May have applied for/taken the Junior Level Science Scholarship
- Examination but DID NOT QUALIFY for the scholarship
- May have qualified for the Junior Level Science Scholarship but DID NOT AVAIL of the scholarship award
Note: Grades in the non-academic subjects are NOT INCLUDED in the computation of the (GWA) General Weighted Average ,
The term “Conditional” refers to conditional failure in a course where one has to either retake and pass the course; or pass a re-examination
Failing mark in any academic subject will render you ineligible to apply for the scholarship
