The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the National Science and
Technology Council (NSTC) of Taiwan, through a joint cooperation is pleased to
announce the Call for Application to the MECO-TECO Sandwich Scholarship
Program (SSP) for SY 2024.
Calling all filipino MS/Phd students who would like to conduct thier researches in a ( university or research institution in taiwan.

Scholarship Benefits
- Monthly stipend of NT$20,000 (MS) / NT$30,000 (PhD)
- Php30,000 relocation assistance

What Are The Applicant is Required to Submit ?
- Accomplished MECO-TECO SSP Application (form attached)
- (Acceptance Letter) Proposed Host Institution and Adviser
- CV of Filipino and Taiwanese Host Professors
- Certified Copy of Transcript of Records
- Endorsement from two (2) Former Professors
- (for ASTHRDP/ERDT scholars) Endorsement from Project Leader
- If employed, recommendation from President of the Agency
- Two (2) recent 2×2 ID picture

All applications need be submitted to the said office on or before 15 March 2024. ( Sandwich Program must start in September 2024.)
For ASTHRDP and ERDT scholars, the period of SSP should be within the approved
duration of scholarship. Their applications must be duly endorsed by the respective
ASTHRDP/ERDT Project Leader.
